Patricia Faye Lingle passed away on March 17, 2025, at her home with her loved ones by her side.Patricia was born to Kathleen (James) Maddox and Byron Maddox on May 4, 1936. Kathleen later married Herbert Modglin, who became Patricia's father.Pat married James "Jeff" Lingle, March 21, 1959, near Alto Pass. Theirs was a marriage of 66 years that everyone dreams of, but few get to experience.Pat received her Master of Science degree from SIUC and taught biology at Murphysboro High School until she retired. After retiring from teaching, she worked at the SIU School of Medical Research. Pat and Jeff enjoyed their retirement by spending winters in Naples and back home golfing, camping, always planting trees and flowers, and going out with friends.Pat is survived by the love of her life, Jeff. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Deborah and Jim Nash; sisters-in-law, Sarah Barnhart and Carolyn Lingle; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Richard (Rick) and Ruby Lingle; nieces
