Anita Jeanne Stadelbacher, beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother "Memaw", 95, of Greenville, MS, formerly of Cobden, IL died at 3 p.m. Friday, September 20, 2024, at her home in Greenville, MS. Funeral Mass will be at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Greenville. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, September 30, 2024, at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cobden, IL.
She was born September 10, 1929, in Cobden, to the late Louis and Flora "Flo" Baggott. She graduated from Cobden Community High School in 1947 as Valedictorian of her class.
Jeanne married the love of her life, Dr. Earl A. Stadelbacher on August 3, 1950. They went on to have seven children who were the joy of her life.
While being a devoted wife and mom, she earned a Bachelor of Business Degree with Honors at the University of Illinois Urbana with her name on a bronze tablet which is still on display to
